“When the Lights Go Down”
This one’s feels like a soulful gospel song. I know very little about this guy. I ran across him through a suggestion from a friend and I’ve been very impressed with a few songs on this CD. You should give it a listen. He apparently tours with Andy Davis, Will Hoge, and others.

Love it, as always. Been listening to this one all morning.
Jason..dear Jason..
I saw this guy live in New Orleans once. I promise, this is the ONLY song you will like by him.
Unless you enjoy the white boy soulish get-down thing he’s got going on.
Who knows. But I figured I’d warn you before you get too excited.
Ernie is wonderful. He is even better live. He has a great voice, great songs, and he is a very nice guy. He truely appreciates every last one of his fans. If you have a chance go see him live, you won’t be sorry.
The sound is reminiscent of Josh Kelley (specifically his song “I Don’t Mind Singing”). If you haven’t heard of him, check him out online, or you can even purchase a physical copy for very cheap. His first CD, Almost Honest, was completely overlooked and is now being sold at Dollar Tree stores for just $1!

I found this artist recently and didn’t realize you had an old post with him. I really LOVE his other song called “Lisa”.
