Rosie Thomas sings a farewell.

Rosie Thomas
“Farewell”

I listened to this song for the first time today and loved it. It’s so muted and minimal, but still so emotive.
There aren’t huge rises or falls, just a simple, honest musical expression.

Enjoy.

So I found your site through Stacy and I am extremmely excited to go through all your music to see if I can find some up and comings. I would love to share some I have found over the years. I still say my favorite discovery was Maroon 5 2 years before they even had a radio time.
Stacy tells me you may take this down…so I plead you should always share your music with the world. Email me sometime and I can give you some music you may enjoy.

Oh I didn’t actually write a comment about the song. She reminds me a lot of Regina. Wonderful movement with her melodic chords….I think the best part of the song is the last few seconds when she says “I’m done”.

I completely agree. Having that sort of thing left into the recording highlights the intimacy of her recording process. It’s exactly why I posted this song.

Jason- thank you for posting this song (I’ve never commented here before; hi!) This song made me bawl; my first serious relationship ended about six months ago, not by my choice. In the next couple of months I’m going to be moving back home, about 1500 miles away, and the feeling in this song is just…exactly right.

Yay! I haven’t checked your site in awhile, you put more music up! I heard this song first on an episode of Alias. It’s so pretty but makes me sad sometimes. Good pick.
